Chong was so good at beating the press...she was so under control...great game....normally Crystal Dangerfield subs for Chong but there was no way she was coming out against that defense...well done Saniya!

Watched Saniya warming up and she was making everything. UCLA was leaving her unguarded and doubling Lou or Pheesa in the post and Saniya burned them from 3. Also great job breaking the press.

The best thing about Saniya today is that she played with complete confidence, like a senior who kept her cool against a very aggressive and athletic team.

I got scared for Saniya when she got hit at mid-court by Canada.

When you saw the replay it wasn't actually that bad a foul, and I liked the way Canada and another UCLA player immediately went to her and apologized - absolutely nothing intentional, Canada was leaping in the air thinking Saniya was going to float a pass over her (she had a number of tipped passes and a couple of steals with that move) and Saniya just dribbling.

Agree on Saniya, also I thought Pheese had a poor game. Then I looked at the stats. I was amazed. She could slay you and you wouldn't even notice.

If you didn't like the UConn offense or defense---blame UCLA!! UCla's coach is among the best I have seen. Their 3 point shootin was impossible to match. Unless Kia is hot.
