Game Notes:

1. Georgetown got hit hard with game postponements and cancellations having lost 12 games. Consequently they have only played 10 games. Unfortunately, they also have a very difficult time winning basketball games being 1-9.

2. Georgetown is scoring challenged only averaging 49.5 points per game while their opponents average 64.7 points per game.

3. Georgetown does not have an all star player...their top player only averages 11.1.

4. Georgetown is not a particularly tall team.

5. Georgetown will be overmatched in just about all categories.

6. Look for the reserves to get significant minutes.

7. Christyn Williams will have a good game...Bueckers and Muhl will make sure she is involved...and, involved early.

Good game for Uconn in this crowded section of the schedule - should be able to rest some starters and get some work in for the bench. Maybe get Saylor a little more integrated, get Williams back into rhythm, etc.

EDIT:
Uconn's next 5 games are against the bottom five teams in the conference - combined the five have won 15 games this year and have a 15-46 record - Uconn has also won 15 games. Should Providence get added back they are the sixth lowest record in conference at 6-8

G'town is very scoring challenged--they don't shoot well, don't shoot the 3 well, and don't shoot FTs well. No one on the team shoots 25% from the arc. They also turn the ball over a lot. They won't score 50 on us and shouldn't score 40.

I looked up some of their stats on Her Hoops and they were ugly. We are talking about one of the worst shooting teams in Division 1. I seem to recall something like 20% three point shooting and 54% from the foul line. About the only things that were decent was offensive rebounding and blocked shots. We should get to see everybody tomorrow, Saylor, Piath and Autumn.

Wondering if we are going to get 2 games added to the schedule - we are missing a road game at Providence that was postponed and a Villanova game at home.
