Syracuse, last year in the Big East, was 5th in scoring offense, 11th in scoring defense, 3rd in rebounding margin, and led the league in offensive rebounds. I, personally expected more from Syracuse this year and felt that they deserved an NCAA bid ahead of West Virginia, a team that sputtered into the postseason. Still, Syracuse, on their best day, will only prevent a blowout. They have little chance of attaining the requisite 70 points necessary to have a chance against UConn, and have next to no chance of keeping UConn below 70 points.
82-57 UConn.
