Blakes vs. Strong in their senior years will be can't miss TV. Vandy also has a couple of nice incoming recruits to compliment Blakes her last two years.I’d have loved to see Game 1 scheduled for next season, but this should be a great series!
Galvan is also fun to watch from Vanderbilt. She had great game against Michigan. Since she is only a freshman, I hope she’s still on the team. Nothing is guaranteed in this new environment.Blakes vs. Strong in their senior years will be can't miss TV. Vandy also has a couple of nice incoming recruits to compliment Blakes her last two years.

Off topic but not sure where to put this. I was watching a blowout win for Arkansas over Vanderbilt last night in MBB. Jimmy Dykes, who is a SEC announcer, was very complimentary of UConn WBB and Sarah and Azzi. I thought that was pretty cool to hear on a MBB SEC broadcast.
Great for women’s basketball? This is great for UConn, Vandy and women's basketball. Can't wait.
As an fellow old vet just keep remembering the discipline and focus you had to stay active and engaged. 2027 will be here before you know it. Just be sure to buy tix as soon as they go on sale. This should be a great one with Sarah in her last game and some of the prospects like the big O playing in front of a sold out crowd. Can't wait.Great news. Can't wait. Now I just need to make sure that I keep this old body chugging along until at least November 2027.
More likely Blakes vs Kayleigh. I'm pretty sure Mikayla will spend a negligible amount of time guarding Sarah or Blanca or Olivia, though it's possible Blanca and Sarah will occasionally switch on to her defensively. Also, Galvan vs Kelis and Jovana.Blakes vs. Strong in their senior years will be can't miss TV. Vandy also has a couple of nice incoming recruits to compliment Blakes her last two years.
While you mention K9, Kelis and Joyana as Guards who will be involved, let's not leave Allie out of that discussion and even Morgan who has shown she has Guards skills, including the all-important Guard trait-leadershipMore likely Blakes vs Kayleigh. Very funny. I enjoyed your pun. Thank you. GO HUSKIES!!!!!Great for women’s basketball?
Wait. But I recently read that . , ,.
Never mind!
I was thinking about Allie and Morgan at the time. It wasn't an oversight. But I don't think either of them will spend much time defending Blakes and Galvan. They'll simply be even more factors that Vandy will struggle to account for -- whoever Vandy consists of besides those two. That's the other thing that struck me, when I was looking at their roster, how little of the current roster will remain. I think they have just two freshmen and two sophomores, and only Blakes and Galvan are currently getting a lot of minutes. Shea will have plenty of room to build a very different roster by 27-28. If she makes a good showing in the tournament this year, her recruiting could get a real shot in the arm over the next couple years. While you mention K9, Kelis and Joyana as Guards who will be involved, let's not leave Allie out of that discussion and even Morgan who has shown she has Guards skills, including the all-important Guard trait-leadership
