I threw out the big E fairgrounds, they’ll have to rent some bleachers and start planting grass if they want it ready in 7 months

Looks like Johnny Unitas. Players from that era were tough. I love the story of Unitas breaking his nose and grabbing a bunch of mud to stop the bleeding. One of his lineman almost vomited watching this.two of my football coaches at Weaver High School played for them: Ernie Colquette & Phil Kearney - two very tough guys

Knights were owned by Pete SavinHartford Knights and the Charter Oaks great football teams. My partners 64 Galaxy500 had a styrofoam football with I believe Hartford Knights that was on the radio antenna.
I think Bill Savitt owned them, if I read correctly.
This looks like their best season...If I remember correctly, the Hartford Knights had an undefeated championship season the same year the Miami Dolphins had theirs.
