from the Temple website:

PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's basketball team will be looking to extend its season-best win streak to four games on Thursday, Feb. 11 when the Owls (14-8, 8-3) host UConn (17-6, 7-3) in a "White Out" game at the Liacouras Center. Tip time is set for 7 p.m. on ESPN2, and 8,000 commemorative white Temple t-shirts will be available to fans in attendance.

Nice of them to provide shirts to wipe the tears...

So I decided that for a Uconn win I will not play Indoor ultimate tonight. Every time they have had a 7 pm Thursday night game and I have had Indoor Ultimate they have lost. The 9 pm slot is fine(last week for example). This game is so big since winning it will start to build a ton of momentum and confidence which could lead to great things in the next few weeks. A win and they will route Tulsa Saturday. So I will not play ultimate and my team will probably lose(I am captain) but sacrifices have to be made and I am glad to make them.

Temple has poor interior D and shot blocking. Adams and Miller should be able to have high scoring games.

DeCosey will probably light us up. Hamilton isn't a great on ball defender when DeCosey plays the 3 (55% of the time), and he has a size advantage on Purvis when Temple plays big and he's at the 2 (33% of the time). Hopefully he doesn't have Prince Williams' shooting stroke from Sunday.

Temple gets blocked on 9% of their shots, which makes them one of the worst in the nation in that category. Their tallest player who gets major minutes is 6'8. This is the type of game where Brimah should be swatting shots on D and catching lobs from Hamilton with consistency. An efficient 10-15 points from him would go a long way for our offense.

I find this extremely pleasant to hear. Much appreciated insight.

Ranked 90something in kenpom , uconns ranked 19th... Cannot drop this game. If @ xl center or gampel I would expect a blow out, but road games are just different.

I really don't like speculating on this one. Good guys win, nobody scores more than 70. That's my prediction.

Hard to believe that Temple in Philadelphia is our closest conference rival. Anyway...UConn 71 - Temple 67

Temple doesn't break 60. UConn does. That is all.

I feel like this game will be very close, with neither team scoring over 70 probably. I see it as a game where free throws makes/misses is what determines the winner.

I kinda feel like it'll be like the Tulsa or Houston games of recent years where we the first one close but cream them in the second. Or we lose the game in the 60s. Hard to say.
