The San José State baseball team (7-12, 2-1 MW) will host San Diego State (11-10, 2-1 MW) and UConn (10-11, 0-0 BIG EAST) this weekend at Excite Ballpark. The Spartans will face each opponent twice and SJSU's games against SDSU will not count towards conference records. The games can be streamed on Mountain West Network.

A busy weekend awaits the San Diego State baseball program, as it travels to north to Silicon Valley to play two non-conference games against San José State and Connecticut, March 20-22, at Excite Ballpark in San Jose, California.

As a former all-area, bat-first high school outfielder who made my fair share of errors, I’ll be the first to say, OF is a lot harder than it looks. Some people have it, others don’t. Not sure Minick is built for the OF.
