This is really true. In a game where we really started to air it out, we lost our stud WR early in the game. Must say, Foxx and company stepped up to fill his shoes.

Once we tied up the game I don't think we got a first down until the final garbage drive at the end.

Still, they did much better tonight that I expected. Diaco had a nice gameplan on defense.

that's why stats are for losers. Not to say he is one, but he didn't trust his OL tonight. They played an admirable game.

Things came together tonight. We didn't win, but we sure did look a lot better. I don't think ECU is playing very well but nonetheless, we played a good team tough. We moved the ball and we looked respectable.

I feel bad for ECU that they will take the heat for having a tight game with us. In fairness, this UConn team tonight was much better than its been all season. Diaco and Whitmer both have my respect tonight. Good showing.

Thinking it isn't a top 20 defense and thinking it sucks aren't exactly the same thing. They did give up 600 yards tonight, so I wouldn't schedule the parade quite yet.

You do realize part of the reason they ran 100 plays was because they converted on third and fourth down like crazy right?
