And scalpers/breakers scoop up the new releases and they sell out before most casual collectors can even order then, which results in jacked up prices from 3rd party sellers. Compared to the professional sports leagues (NBA, MLB, NFL etc), there are relatively few college basketball sets....it's pretty much just the Bowman sets and maybe Panini has a few unlicensed sets they release, so it's a bit easier to collect college cards.
