UConn To Play Vanderbilt on Nov. 17

The UConn women’s basketball team will play host to Vanderbilt in the annual Basketball Hall of Fame Women’s Showcase at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Nov. 17, it was announced on Thursday.

UConn has played in the past four Hall of Fame events. Last year the Huskies defeated Oklahoma, 88-64. Past meetings include wins over Florida State, UCLA and Ohio State.

I think we should take this game for what it is...an early in the season, out of conference game. It's an opportunity for UCONN to work on many things, including working sets, plays and groupings of players to see where they are as a team and what they need to work on. Not all games will be against top rated teams because there just aren't enough of them.
