I stand by my views that NE (in 2019) is not a college football region to support any college team. There's no youth programs to build into High School programs which a school can pull from. The local dialogues will always focus on pro teams, generating that interest. Add in budget issues to prevent expanded recruiting, getting better coaching for a school in the RED and you have a reduced football emphasis.
