UConn to celebrate Geno Auriemma and Chris Dailey’s 40th season with special events

With all the poor movies being made, predict sometime in the future that Geno's story will make the big screen. What a great American success story-young boy comes from Italy to the US not speaking English and eventually gets to the top of his profession. Based on Geno's humor and sarcastic comments, should have great one-liners.

I wonder if Geno/Chris will ever have a statue on campus or something named for them.
One is being planned out in front of the Werth Center for Geno. I agree that having a statue with both of them feels right given their contributions to the program.

As the plan is currently in place, a statue of Geno would be on one side of Werth and Jim Calhoun on the other.

Geno is on the left and Jim is on the right.

Renovations to Gampel are also discussed.

Chris and Geno are inseparable, when it comes to Uconn Women's BB. Like, Siamese Twins. Each contributing to the success of Uconn equally. When a movie should be made , it will be well deserved and one kind of validation of their greatness. I am 91 and I hope I live to see Geno's 5 year contract end as Uconn is going to be the most talked about team in Women's BB and No. 12 and No. 13 and No 14 is in the future.GO NEWCOMMERS!!!! GO SOPHOMORES!!!! GO TEAM!!!! GO HUSKIES!!!!!!

The problem is that there is no drama to the story. LOL
