Lol yes all multi million dollar league decisions are based on the results of 1 or 2 losses in a sport. You guys are freaking nuts. It literally has nothing to do with results for us at this point. Football has shown it's getting competitive and basketball aint going anywhere. Its about fans in seats and TV eyes and media worth. Now, obviously winning helps with both, but in the long run. It doesn't matter what basketball does this year.  In no way, shape, or form does not winning three national championships in a row tarnish anything, my god. Every team is going to suffer a set back sending so many players to the pros. They also know we have a top recruiting class in the country coming in. We will be fine no matter what happens this year. Its not like we are going to fall off the edge of a cliff like some of the hot football commodities have (USF, UCF) Remember when they were all the rage? UConn has proven over and over that we can support big time athletics. And we we have a decent conference we can certainly hang with the best of alll the mediocre football programs out there already in the big time.
