UConn stats vs Maryland...the countdown begins...

UConn cruised past Maryland 81-58 and the countdown is on for the National Championship game Tuesday, against some school from Indiana. UConn’s stats from last night begin the count:

10. Morgan Tuck hit a game high 10 field goals and scored twenty four points.
9. Stewie sank 9 of her ten free throws as Maryland’s bigs fouled and fouled.
8. UConn made 8 three point buckets w/ two each from Tuck, Stewart & MoJeff.
7. KML only had four points, but passed out a game high 7 assists.
6. Kia Stokes contributed quality minutes scoring 6 points and grabbing 6 rebounds.
5. MoJeff’s thirty-eight minutes yielded 5 field goals and 5 assists.
4. Stewie’s stats included 4 blocks to go w/ two steals & three assists.
3. Tuck & Stewie each had 3 offensive rebounds. Stokes went 3-3 from the field.
2. MoJeff had 2 threes, 2 -2 from the free throw line, 2 rebounds and 2 steals.
1. KML and Nurse had 1 three each & Jefferson had only 1 turnover..!!

Next (possibly going down) is Notre Dame..!! Go Huskies..!!
