UConn stats....Stewie, Stewie & more Stewie....

We have Stewie and nobody else does.... It doesn't matter who played for DePaul on Wednesday or Notre Dame today. Stewie plays for UConn and she dominated in both victories. Consider her two game statistics:

1. Stewie played 77 of 80 possible minutes, including all 40 against DePaul.
2. Breanna scored 57 pts on her way to back to back double-doubles.
3. Stewart shot 20-28 or 71.4% from inside the 3 pt arc and 2-8 from three range.
4. You can't stop Stewie, you can only foul her. She made 11-13 free throws or 85% ..!!
5. Stewie grabbed 22 rebounds and blocked 4 shots while dominating the lane.
6. She added 4 steals, 3 assists and 2 amazing tip ins to fill out her sheet.
7. Her two game average was 28.5 pts & 11 rebounds per game.

Stewie is on a mission to win 4 straight National Championships. Geno says she is playing her best basketball ever. That is plain scary for opponents and so much fun for UConn fans..!!

As I said the other night, if Stewie had to she would play 1 on 5 to win a game. A woman on a mission this year. Very business like approach, and after last season does not take anything for granted.

Awfully tough to get many assists though playing 1 on 5....just a thought. Might like to see 2 or 3 against 5. Bet Geno has them running that drill now.
