Sarah scored 657 points in 40 games vs Liya scoring 652 pts in 37 games. Sarah scored more, but Liya had a better per game average (17.6 vs 16.4) 2. Last year, the Huskies totaled 833 assists. (Highest assist total since 2017-18) Two seasons ago that total was 764. 3. Five Huskies played all in 40 games last season. They were Sarah, Ashlynn, Kaitlyn, KK and Jana. (Two years ago four player saw action in all 39 games. KK was only one both seasons.) 4. Both players averaged 6.9 pts per game, but Kaitlyn scored 277 pts vs Nika's 269 (in one less game). 5. Jana grabbed 203 boards last season. Paige had 202 two years ago when she often played the 4 position. 6. Interestingly, UConn had a higher % made this year at 76.6% vs 74.4% two years ago. BUT, total attempts were way down with 478 vs 597 two years ago. (Record assists but fewer free throws…hmmmm.) 7. Nika Muhl had 253 assists two years ago. Paige led the team this past season with 176. 8. The scoring average this past season was better at 81.7 than the 79.7 from two years ago. 9.
