UConn stats.... interesting & odd numbers thru 3 games...

Can't wait for Wednesday's potentially record setting game. Until then, here are some interesting stats through the first 3 games:

1. As expected, Paige is on fire from 3 point range, hitting 7-14 shots. Guess who is also 7-14 from three range? Qadence, Morgan and Allie are a combined 7-14 from beyond the arc.
2. In 3 games, UConn has scored 75 points in the 1st period and given up only 33. Early leads are nice. For the first three halves, UConn has scored 141 points and given up 64. Non starters have played 32% of all minutes.
3. Ashlynn leads the team with 10 steals while not committing even 1 foul. She has also not been to the free throw line in 91 minutes.
4. Overall, the Huskies are shooting 54.3% from the field. Opponents are shooting just 33.5% from the field and 45.5% from the charity stripe. Great free throw defense…
5. Sarah Strong has more blocked shots (6) that Jana, Ice and Paige combined (5).
6. UConn has 66 assists in 3 games. They also have 40 steals in those games.
7. Paige is shooting 19-26 or 73% from inside the 3 pt arc.

That might be true, but the statement said that Qadence (Q), Morgan, and Allie are 7-14. (Not Morgan & Allie)
