Napheesa Collier has scored 102 points, grabbed 45 rebounds and passed out 17 assists in just the last four games. As Geno said post game, she never stops or takes a moment off. Nobody in the country is playing better basketball, night in and night out, than Pheesa. From 3 point range, she was 2-6 or 33%. Inside the arc and all over the lane, she was an astounding 43-57 or 75.4%..!! Lay-up, pull up jumper, left hand, right hand, Pheesa can't be stopped..!! And if someone misses a shot, Collier is a rebound machine, averaging over 11 per game, for the last 4 games.
Napheesa has been doing this for 4 seasons now and stands #11 all-time on the UConn scoring list with 2,085 points. With 49 more points, she will pass Rebecca Lobo and crack the all-time top 10. As if that wasn't enough, she is currently #7 on the all-time rebounding list at 1,053. Just 2 more rebounds and she passes Jamelle Elliott for 6th place. Then on to #5 Stef Dolson at 1,101 boards. Wait, there is more..!! Napheesa is #7 in blocked shots with 224. Dolson is #6, just 30 blocks away.
All this from a 6'1" undersized forward with a motor that never quits. Congrats Napheesa..!!
Go Huskies..!!
P.S. - Over the last four games, Collier has 1 turnover. Total.
