Well we've been waiting for this show to begin. Bigger and better then last season with depth. Wow. How many will UConn win by. Well there is no question UConn will win and win big. This could get ugly fast. Yes I do expect rust, and the underclassman need to gain experience and I think they see alot of time in todays nationally televised game which will make non UConn fans sick, because this seasons version of the UConn Huskies is better then last years team and there is no other team that is that much better then their previously seasons team. Beat your Best. This season UConn has beaten their best which was what they did in the past season. They never seem to get worse always seem to get better. Stanford a top team season after season could find out really quick what this UConn team can do. The WCBB nation will be watching. Ive called this team a well oiled machine for many years. This season is no different. It will take time for our non starters to adjust to real time game conditions and we will see glimpses of that today. This team is well oiled too however with our transfers and freshman we have the potential to be a well oiled unstoppable steamroller. We will only get better and much much better as the season progresses and our new rostered players become part of the team chemistry and team continuity. When that happens its going to be unbelievable. Until then it will be a work in progress. IMO theres a reason Ohio St declined playing UConn and we will see that answer today. Today could be a huge blowout with our non starters seeing alot of playtime. We will see how long it takes before Geno pulls back a little. Hey Im not knocking Stanford they have a really good program and have for many years however this is UConn at its best with 3 first team AA's and maybe more. This is a team that lost a game they shouldve won last season. This is a monster team that has more talent then and options then any team Geno has coached. I expect to see signs of total domination today. I expect ups and downs because of rust and inexperienced transfers and underclassman. This is not about how much UConn will win by today, this is the first step under big game conditions to prepare this team and see what this team has and needs to improve on to get ready for March. Don be concerned. UConn will not lose. Once again barring injuries we will be just fine. Foul trouble this season could hurt us but not like it couldve hurt us last season because we have non starters who can come in. Our schedule the first half of this season is Murders Row. However UConn has a lineup stronger then the old Yankee dynastys with Ruth and Gerhig . UConn 96 Stanford 59
