Little does Michigan know that we don't need to borrow an in-house DJ.....

http://www.maizenbrew.com/2013/9/17...us-uconn-huskies-tv-schedule-game-information

The Huskies play in a small stadium, like Northwestern, but it's several miles away from the main campus, like Penn State. Neither of those are good hyperbole for what Michigan will see Saturday. I don't even think UConn is sure what the atmosphere will be like. Maybe Brent Musberger will have to work the stadium soundboard himself for all we know. Does UConn have a soundboard? Western Michigan has an in-house DJ maybe UConn could borrow him. About the only thing we do know is that Michigan will be there, with a healthy visiting fan presence, and a chip on their shoulder.

Rarely, if ever, do I visit an apposing team's forum. Went over to the Rival's Mich board. No conversations on the game, to speak of.

On the Scout board there is a prediction thread, most of course predicting a blow out. One guy had this comment on how many Mich fans would be in attendance. If it's even close to this, I'm gonna punch someone in @@king mouth.

Re: Hey fella's I will be at Saturday game>anyone else?

I read an article the other day that said next to PSU, Michigan has the largest alumni base in NYC with around 12,000. It also said that there is a very large alumni base in Boston which is only like an hour and half drive. With UConn's stadium only seating 40,000, I would expect at least half the crowd to be cheering for Michigan.

My guesstimate would be that there will be 7,000 Michigan fans at the game. They had 5,000 allotted per something I read about a year ago (or maybe it's now less - the typical 2,500 plus 2,200 additional seats = 4,700).

Well, if he's going to take credit for all of the fans wearing blue, about half of our fans are known to wear one of our school colors on game day.

EVERY single home game I see Bruins fans in their gold jackets. Mich fans will count them as well.

I don't have season tickets -- just the mini plan and there's no call out on the ticket as to "blue out" or "white out" or anything on my tickets.

Does anyone know if a "white out"? I would think since Mich is also blue we should wear white, but maybe the AD doesn't want call out the large number of Mich fans at the game wearing blue... hmmm

What a clueless . When you are Michigan, winingest program of all time, do you really need fabricated, inaccurate pot shots at your competition and their stadium to pump yourself up? Have some class.

Frankly, I'll be surprised if Michigan has a bigger following at the stadium than West Virginia used to bring. My feeling (and this is based on my personal experience with the ticket demand for this game) is that the people that are going to be there supporting Michigan, are not of the same, let's say, boisterous mold, as the West Virginia contingents that used to fill up the corner of the stadium.

No. They need to wear yellow. Anyone in blue counts as a UConn fan.

If Michigan fans made up 80% of the fans in the stadium Saturday, UConn fans would still likley be the louder bunch. When UConn played at Michigan didn't they set two records that day; largest football crowd and lowest decibel level in a stadium of a crowd that size or similiar? Not sure how they will travel, but we have had much roudier/loud fans at the Rent regardless of numbers.

I'll say this. At Notre Dame, the UCONN fans seemed to be louder than the rest of the stadium. Rentschler at night in a big time game gets nuts. They will be in for a rude awakening. 40,000 at The Rent are louder than the Big House.

At least half? Like this guy is planning on 21k+ Michigan fans? A lot of the remaining tickets on stubhub have been visitor section seats as in Mich wasn't even selling their allotment. Were Michigan fans just planning on making the trip last minute?

If the first two games show anything, if Uconn is down in the 4th, and there are 10K fans still in the stadium, I think we know how many fans michigan brought...
