By viewers, does the pole mean tv sets & monitors? Seems low as the Tri-State area had many sets glued to the action. When you take into account sports bars, alumni viewing parties (e.g. Atlanta, Boston, etc.) & the like, the number of actual viewers would seem much higher.

Just a comment about St. Johns: The end line at Carnesceca Arena proclaims the Storm as New York's Team-Um, no.
The Storm rent out MSG for in-season games, rarely sell out, & have a so-so record there.
UConn, has a huge alumni base in the Big Apple, gets INVITED to play at MSG to ensure sellouts & rarely loses in the building. (7-0 this season). There's a reason that UConn fans think of the Apple as Storrs South.

Yes, the Championship game viewership: 1,676,000 viewers. It was the most championship viewers since Fox has covered the Big East.

It always will. Selection Sunday on CBS the same channel as the selection show is the best possible timeslot (aside from the the timeslot immediately after it that the B1G has).

why are you here? Cincy BB was in the BE for a very short period & has been to (2) Sweet 16's since 1999....while UCon has won 5 titles during that time period, plus a Final 4 and are the overall 1 seed this year. Cincy hasn't even made an Elite 8 since 1993 and the glory days were in the early 1960's....talk about being irrelevant now. Congrats on the Big12...enjoy being a bottom feeder.
