Yeah, that stinks. She just did a podcast a couple weeks ago about how much she loved UConn. I guess it's always a risk when a really good player (from the far west) in any sport at a northeast college becomes a star. That yearning to be (nearer to) home is a real thing.
Statistically, at least, the best pitcher the Friars had - 7-1 with at team-best 3.38 ERA. Only four starts in 26 games but completed 3 of them. The Huskies could use a couple more good arms.
