Some poignant quotes

Perhaps this one says it all

“We were on the way to doing a lot of great things in the NCAA Tournament, and it’s disappointing that we didn’t get a chance to showcase this,” Adebayo wrote. "But the growth we made collectively as a team should be the highlight of our season! Moments and experiences like this show why nothing should ever be taken for granted, and that it truly is a blessing to have the opportunity and ability to play sports, and to be a Husky forever!”

It’s nice to see Evelyn’s comments. Following Kyla’s injury, there was no other Husky player who was positioned to play a more important role in the postseason than they did in the regular season.

Despite what must have been a deeply disappointing and premature end to her season, Evelyn is choosing to be positive. It’s just one more example why these young ladies are so very special.
