Newsome is a special talent IMO.. just a compact one... He's Terry Caulley 2.0... Terry might've got him a little bit in long speed, but he tops Caulley in terms of durability...

Newsome is going to finish his career as one of the best players in school history. It's a shame 3 of those seasons were under Diaco. I can only image what his numbers would have been. I look forward to seeing what he can do under Edsall, Lashlee, and Richardson. Hopefully, he has a huge senior campaign and is given a shot at the next level.

This is the first time Richardson is working with Lashlee and offensive line coach J.B. Grimes but it hasn't taken long for chemistry to be formed.
"There are no better people," Richardson said. "Rhett is awesome, very smart, a good family man, funny personality. He keeps things loose, keeps the meeting room live. J.B., a lot of wisdom, a lot of experience so it is going to be a fun season."

Can't say enough how much better Edsall has been at assembling a staff than Diaco.

He's an amazing evaluator of talent with both coaches and players. If Edsall wants you to coach with him or play for him it should be taken as huge compliment.
