[QUOTE="sun, post: 4659057, member: 11664"] Every year UConn engineering students build a new Formula SAE race car and then go to the Michigan Speedway to compete against other schools from around the world. This year the UConn racing team finished 11th overall out of 121 schools. The most notable result is that UConn finished 1st in acceleration, they had the fastest car on the track. -------------------------------------------------- It's time to wrap up the 2023 Michigan event! We are extremely excited to announce that this year, we placed 11th overall out of 121 teams. We placed 7th in autocross, 12th in skidpad, 21st in the business presentation, and completed endurance (although with a few hiccups). On top of all that, we placed 1st in acceleration, with a time of 4.174 seconds! The CT-14 is an absolute beast, and it truly would not have been possible without the amazing members of our team. They have all put an incredible amount of hours and work into this car. This was an amazing sendoff to the ICE era of UConn Formula SAE, and we're excited to see what next year holds!
