How the hell does southwestern Connecticut not have a decent functioning airport? Approximately two million people in Fairfield and New Haven Counties and we have to go all the way to Queens or Windsor Locks for a flight? What other metro with that critical mass of people has to go that far? It’s too late now though because no one who lives near Sikorsky, Oxford or Tweed now will ever let the growth of an airport happen. shortsightedness has been Connecticut’s strength for sometime.
