One game tonight: West Virginia @ Texas

Texas winning would be good. Keep their RPI up and keep making that win more valuable.

Michigan also plays at Ohio State.
True. I'm pulling in games that affect UConn's RPI, so I missed that since win or lose has no effect on our RPI, but Michigan being a Top 50 team would be good.

Somehow the time flew by. Can you tell me how we did against Cincy, SMU, and USF?

Well the board hasn't been burned to the ground so im am guessing 2-1

Texas and Ohio State both win. Pretty good results for us, I think. Having a top 25 road win with Texas would be huge, and Michigan is somewhat safely in the field, so this win by OSU brings OSU closer to the bubble, which helps us.

The Texas win is big. Keeps them moving up in the RPI: they're 21 now and will stay in the RPI Top 25 for sure.

The Michigan game was mixed. Keeps OSU in the Top 100 (they were 84) and hurts a competitor for a bid. But a Michigan win gets them back into the RPI Top 50, where right now we're 2-3. It would be better for us long term for them to make the Top 50.

Again, the Temple game was huge and we blew it. They're sitting at 61 in the RPI and can creep into the Top 50, and we needed that win.

Now the SMU game is huge. A win there gets us to 2-1 vs. RPI Top 25 and 3-3 vs. RPI Top 50. We don't have a lot of chances against top teams, so we need to capitalize on the few RPI games we have left that are worthwhile.

Texas has been so good to our RPI. If only we could play them every year.
