Figured it would be nice to consolidate previews for UConn opponents in one place. Bill Connelly is going through the AAC right now so I’ll post the conference opponents below:

UConn Schedule:

8/29 Wagner
9/7 Illinois
9/21 @ Indiana
9/28 @ UCF
10/5 USF
10/12 @ Tulane
10/19 Houston
10/26 @ UMass
11/1 Navy
11/9 @ Cincinnati
11/23 ECU
11/30 @ Temple

Year 3 of HCRE2.0 reign, what yah got. 3-9, 1-11, ??????. I have 1-0 vs. FCS teams, similar success to the previous 2 years. 2- 20 against FBS teams last 2 years, I'll give the over under at 2, that's getting UConn at least back to the glory days of 2017 when losses were in single digits.
I'll be going to the 10/12 Tulane game, can't imagine UConn could possibly lose to a tiny little private school that isn't UConn conference worthy (according to many posters here).

I see possibly 4 wins with maybe a lucky 5..
I’m betting on Spanos turning the D around, the new strength coach adding weight to the boys so they are quicker and stronger, the new additions on D coming in and making an immediate impact, the boys are all a year older and now have some experience on the field, the QB position competition heating up so the best one gets the starting job which could be Beaudry and experience, familiarity and strength with the same group on the Oline ..
And I think we could be surprised this year.. Wagner will be the first test

I think that we'll come away with 3 wins, as long as we can beat Wagner in week 1. That scares me because we'll have a lot of new parts and we're a bad team, so if we lose to Wagner to open, we can basically cancel the season. Assuming we beat them, I think we can beat UMass in a year 0 under Walt Bell and one of ECU, Navy, or Illinois at home. Of course, I also think that we could go 0-12

Would like to see them play a bit to see how off season conditioning went, how much they have learned. Remember, these kids are athletes and almost all of them don't like to lose. I will reserve judgment until seeing the team play.

Twelve wins is possible.

But first we need to go 1-0.

I would like to get one of Indians and Illinois. Plus Wagner. Then I like our chances to get a couple of UMass ECU Tulane Navy and Temple. At some point I think things start to click. I hope it is this year. That has sort of been Edsall’s history.

Just a dose of reality before CT legalizes and you all go off to Lala Land. So, if UConn is a six point dog against Wagner (and I have no clue if that is true of not, didn't think there was a line for FCS teams), then what do YOU think is the most likely record?

We're bowling this year! Mark it now. I don't see how we lose before the UCF game.

BTW, I'm on my fourth bottle of Dragon's Milk and watching the Bruins...

Even if they come in ready to play, this team has no idea what it takes to win. Men’s BB this year is a great example of what a program turn-around looks like. They played a number of games down to the wire and came of up short. They now know they need to work on getting over the hump. If the FB team can contest games to the end, I’m confident they will be on the upswing. Based on last season, they first need to get in the zone of being competitive. Getting rid of Crocker was a good first step. Back filling on LB is hugely necessary.

That's a rough home slate. I have to assume that the over/under is going to be 2.5 wins.
