I like how Borges adds video to his blog posts...second one shows small glimpse of practice.

Cheap shot at Calhoun. ...ha ha.
Starting to think JC will be a head coach somewhere next season.

Cheap shot? He's just pointing out that Calhoun never actually put on shorts and played during practice

Maybe he'll coach a womens team. Perhaps, Tennessee. That would actually be pretty cool.

JC quit on the team yesterday vacationing in FL.....(just kidding )

Seriously, I think it would be the wrong move to start over somewhere else. He has a good role now, gives him something to do but less intense....he is where he should be at this stage - vacationing with his family in FL.

"We're blessed to be a blessing" is my favorite ollieism yet. I mean it when I say that I will be a fan of UConn basketball as long as he is our coach even if we never win another championship. As long as his players continue to be an extension of his larger than life personality and play hard and with pride, come what may. This is not an acceptance of mediocrity and I expect great things from KO, but he transcends the game and I'm so proud he is a husky.

I'm not going to be the guy that volleys with them over there and runs back here to call them DB's. The inner circle of UConn haters over there is pretty entertaining. Marsh, Pearl, JDubs, Doc, RF. I might be leaving a few out. They seem to always be in the UConn threads and there is about 1 UConn thread per week. I get a kick out of them bouncing around the extremist UConn is dead point of view. Every once in a while I'll try to call on some BS, but how do you argue with crazy? Still fun to try.
