Here's the thing though. Who are the established dominant frontcourts in College Basketball? Rattle 'em off. Who has exclamation points, not question marks up front?

Pretty lazy analysis to just write the team off and say they'll be happy to finish 3rd in the AAC. Time to prove em wrong.

Here's a quote from KO:

"I am allergic to ‘average.’ I can’t stand average, I can’t stand good. Good is the imitator of great.”

Something about that tells me he won't be happy with 3rd place.

The counter balance to tight games argument is NC State for 38 minutes, Junior "Hadouken"'s blind squirrel toss and the 2OT loss to Gtown with Bazz on one leg in the 2nd half and being victimized by the BS elbow call on Giff that they did away with this year.

We were thin after Wolf went down, in the losses to USF and Cinci we were a bare cupboard. I count that as 4/5 "tough luck" losses to offset a lot of Bazz' heroics.

Much of that has been improved with the bodies we've brought in. I actually think that we are a 4 or 10 loss team, but not anything in between if that makes sense.

If Brimah is plug and play fill the paint on D and board, and Phil is modestly improved than 4. If not, than 10.
I didn't express my conclusion in the point, counterpoint post I made which you are expanding. But I agree with you. The situation, on paper at least, is far more favorable for this season than last and a final four is not out of the question for this team if one or two bigs can be "decent", if the team stays healthy, and if a few breaks goes their way!

Actually it was my fault. If I read your post more thoroughly before responding it was pretty clear you were saying a lot of the same things. My bad.

whoa. I never really understood when everyone on here bashed goodman but holy *k that guy

wow, first time I've seen this dude on video, what's up(or what's in) with his jaw? ESPN isn't actually planning on making him a regular on TV are they?

CBS didn't want to give him any airtime, so that's why he left. ESPN was willing to and I'm betting we are going to see more and more of him.

If you can't get on at least CBS Sports Network they must've been really turned off by his appearance, what an odd looking fellow. He better have thick skin cuz he's gonna hear it quite a bit on twitter once he starts making regular ESPN appearances.

Can't wait to watch him backpedal on us all year. Actually I hope he sticks to his guns while it becomes more and more apparent he's toolbox.

Has anyone actually tried emailing him? Says he invites the feedback email on his twitter bio (lol, sure ya do). goodmanespn@gmail.com I'm pretty tempted to try, but I don't want to use my student email.

duck 3rd PLACE!

TEN TOES IN!!

Can't deny we have questions up front but who is this pear-shaped b!tch telling us we should be happy with third?

I tried listening to this but didn't end up hearing anything. All I could do was stare at how stoned Goodman looked.
