Nike is funding a brand new $500 million on-campus basketball arena complete with new access roads, parking, and high-speed light rail to 16 park-and-ride points around Connecticut, to be called the "Just Do It Center"?

Nike is joining with Buffalo Wild Wings to now provide free beer along with the free wings for 82 points?

Nike is introducing a new shoe called the "Stewie Zoom 30 Flash"?

A new arena with all of the amenities you mention would be a welcome addition to the infrastructure of the University, and a great recruiting magnet for the program, but could not be built on campus.

The only location for an arena of this nature would be ........................................................Fantasyland.

Nike hit the jackpot with the nifty Husky logo, but flunked with those yucky gray XL uniforms. So what's next?

Nike will be introducing a new set of Home-Home unis to pair with the Home-Away Grays that UConn has to wear at XL. The new Home-Home unis will match the ceiling of Gampel; Dingy Gym-Sock Off-White! Built-in panels will ensure that we all know how much....and where....each player is sweating; as the player sweats, the top coat will peel away, revealing a lovely silver lining!

Rutgers just dumped Nike, Nike didn't want to give RU as much as RU wanted - at a guess because the Rutgers "stuff" doesn't sell very well since RU isn't really good at any marketable sport at this time. I think they signed with Addidas.

Hmmmmmmmmm, just checked my calendar, and I'm sure it's not April 1st.

They are going to listen to team members about how uniforms fit and feel. Perhaps a shorter style might be tried. Perhaps a better fit across the shoulder can be made. The team Nike will sent to listen will be mostly female who will understand better about a uni fit. How about that?
