The Big 12 is probably their best hope to be in a major conference now.

USF was isolated geographically in the recent Big East and survived just fine. The NNNNNBE will have trips to Texas and Louisiana. Might as well go to Texas and Oklahoma to play the big schools...

Doesn't the Big 12 own the rights to the name Big 14? Maybe they can bring in UConn, Cincy, and USF to save us all! Add BYU or Boise to that and be done...

A rivalry with Kansas would be fun, assuming KU doesn't end up in the B1G.

No chance. Back when Rutgers was still in play, the B12 was a long-shot at best...but possible as two teams around NYC might make it worth their while. But at this point, there is no chance that the B12 would take UConn.

Except that in that scenario, the per team TV payout would go down significantly. The B12 has a sweatheart TV deal right now...they aren't expanding just for the sake of expanding.

Open a channel to them. Don't beg but have a conversation. It may make a difference down the road.

I have to ask, Why would the B12 want us? It's not what we want. Ask the same question for any conference, ACC, B1G? Why would they want us.

Warde is too busy monitoring the situation to strike up a convo. This would likely not happen though. Big 12 is content living off tgheir riches with ten members and probably won't expand unless the teams really push the needle
