UConn needs to get in the FT. Wayne region somehow

with Louisville. Doesnt matter who is the # 1 or #2 seed. In any other region, UConn will be playing essentially a road game against Baylor, Oregon or South Carolina,
in the E8 game which will be very hard to win (and unfair to UConn). Hopefully, the committee will be fair-minded this year.

Whether that is fair or not depends on UConn's record at season's end. If they lose to both Oregon and South Carolina but win their other games, then they will deserve to be a 2-seed and play a virtual road game against one of the teams that beat them in the regular season. That has happened in the recent past to other teams that had to play UConn in Bridgeport or Albany after losing to UConn in the regular season (e.g., South Carolina in A'ja Wilson's senior year).

If UConn wins all of its remaining games, on the other hand, it will have earned a 1-seed in Fort Wayne.

Was it "unfair" to all those teams that were sent to Bridgeport or Albany in the past 8 years? Let's face it, UConn's had it pretty good most of these years.
