UConn NCAA runs | The Boneyard

UConn NCAA runs

At first I was like UGH WHY DOES BAZZ HAVE AN ASTERISK?! The. I realized that was for title winners

Lovin Kemba Luv! Some remarkable performances, and I remember mostly all of them. Surprised no Carolina players listed.

Man it sucks to not be in post season Tourney discussions. We'll be returning next year, I'm expecting it.

If we're just talking about NCAA tournament runs, then I thought Shabazz's was more impressive than Kemba's. The 2014 team has a much more difficult path, and the team wasn't as talented as 2011, albeit more experienced. If you're adding the context of 5 in 5, and Maui, then I can see why you pick Kemba. Surely, Shabazz should be ranked much closer to Kemba in that regard.

What a slap in the face to Bazz not that he cares.

No Rip? Only set the scoring record at the time.

"I wrote this sentiment then and it seems even more true now: Kemba Walker lifting third-seeded UConn to the national title in 2011 put him atop the most beloved Huskies in program history."
This is painfully bad writing.

Those 11 straight wins were incredible, I do not think you can find a better 11 game stretch than that. And again, you can not find a better 5 game stretch than the 5 in 5 days though that 13-16 Georgia team comes close with that 4 games in 3 days (due to a tornado they played 2 games in one day) stretch they had a number of years ago.

2014 was pretty darn impressive especially considering Louisville had just beaten them by like 50 just before that years streak had started. That team could have very easily folded but they kept it up and in a way, shocked the world.

I wonder how many people read that list and thought, why did they spell Hakeem's name wrong?

Can't argue the Manning ranking. 30 years ago and that is still clear as day. Electric performance.
