OT: UConn Men's and Women's Ice Hockey

#14 UConn Women's Ice Hockey team swept #10 Providence this weekend, wining both last night and today by a score of 2-1. Last weekend the women swept Boston College.

#7 UConn Men's Hockey ended up tied with #9 Providence last night and this afternoon but won both shootouts! The men scored twice in the last 2:16 to send today's game to overtime.

What a weekend.

A Hockey school too.

I'm a huge hockey fan and I love that both UConn hockey teams are doing so well !

UConn alumni Tage Thompson is tearing it up for the Buffalo Sabres: 10 goals, 8 assists for 18 points in 14 games. Right now he's the only UConn alumni playing in the NHL but with the way things are going he won't be the only one for long!
