With the regular season starting in the coming days, there still has been no announcement regarding our home venue. While most of us assume that the powers that be are waiting for the installation of lights at Dillon Stadium, how about sharing some information with your fans?

UConn women's soccer was supposed to have a home preseason game against Quinnipiac last Tuesday, that game was changed to a road game pretty much at the last minute (UConn women won that game 3-0). UConn women's next home game is scheduled for next Sunday (against Fairfield, men's soccer has a home preseason game against BU scheduled for next Saturday night against BU. Either something gets announced pertaining to a location, or these games get moved as well. At any rate, I never figured we'd be this close to games being played with no official announcement having been made for a home site for games.

Was gonna be Dillon Stadium. But Dillon isn't totally built. Lights are going up last. Which is why Hartford Athletic is playing during the day in July in 100 degree heat.

So here we are.

First two home games for the women and a preseason game and the first two home games for the men will be played at University of Hartford. The rest to be at Dillon Stadium.

i like that if you want to buy 2 tickets its cheaper to buy 10 by $2

There's either a minimum of 15 to buy them that isn't mentioned OR this is a genius way to stay on top of the NCAA attendance rankings

I'm glad they could work out that first 3 week schedule at UHart due to the inability of the Dillon Stadium light installation
Was getting dicey and may have wound up at ECSU Willimantic Park - that would have been bad for attendance
This will be a good option - can't wait til next season
UConn soccer belongs in Storrs where Joe Morrone ruled the turf
