@WojYahooNBA Maryland sophomore center Alex Len will enter the NBA Draft, source tells Y! Sports. Len will hold a mid-week news conference at Maryland.

Alex Len was going to crush us on the boards, this helps big time. should be a much easier game

Mr. Len must have been worried about facing Mr. Facey in game #1. ;)

The 2013 class is so much better then the 2012 class, the freshmen coming in will make the 2014 draft very strong.

How exactly is this an update on the game? ANd wouldn't we want to face a top big man early in the season? Either as a confidence boost if we played well or as a slap in the face and wake up call if we didn't?

Len was becoming a real nice player and would love to have seen our guys play against him......need the best players to showcase the game I think.

No. I just want to win as many games as possible next season, and the more handily, the better. I see your point, but I'm sure there will be plenty of challenges for the team - going into the season this year we knew we'd get hammered on rebounding, and having it happen didn't do anything to "fix" the problem, mainly because we were sorely undermanned in the front court anyway.

We even struggled against average teams last year in rebounding. We knew it would be a problem. I'm not sure our schedule for next year, but each game will give us an indication of how our front court is doing, regardless of the talent in the post of the other team...

Personally, I hope every school loses all their best kids, whether to transfer, to the draft, or to being abducted by aliens... Anything that makes next season easier to achieve greatness is A-OK by me...
