I had an awful dream last night. It took place today and the scene was uconn's 1st game of the 2012 big east tournament. It was a must-win game.

They were playing Georgetown.

Georgetown was winning by 1 with 10 seconds to go and with 1 second on the shot clock, Rudy Gay was fouled. I was amazed when the tv screen showed Rudy was a 25% FT shooter.

Unbelievably, Rudy hits them both.

Georgetown inbounds the ball quickly. Ben Gordon is guarding Jason Clark, and Clark bounces the ball off gordon's foot on purpose and it goes all the way back under Georgetown's basket. The commentators were saying, "Clark must've thought you get the time on the clock all over again. He should've known it's just the shot clock that resets. A senior should know this rule."

So, Gtown takes it out again with 4.4 seconds to go. They run the same play that UL unsuccessfully ran in last year's BET final in the final seconds.

Clark passes to Austin Freeman and he launches a deep three by the sideline. Swish.

Game over.

Tough, tough loss.

I was relieved when I woke up.

I think the only thing one can say about this...

..DOOOOMMEDDDD

I think that wacky D2 finish, the number of times Freeman burnt us, and your scars from the 2006 team losing to Mason resurfaced into your subconscious. We all experience some form of it. Now let's kick butt! GO UCONN!

I think we have our hanging victim

string him up

I had a vivid dream of UConn losing in the first round last year ... I think it's generally a good omen.

Can't hang a fan who dreams of UConn, regardless of the dream. But please hang me if I do start dreaming about UConn men's team.

I'll hang you if you start dreaming of Wolters and Lobo.
