"Don’t be shocked if we start to see Randy Polonia take over the closer role." Very interesting stuff. If we can have him groomed for this kind of role right from the beginning of his collegiate career, that bodes really well for us over the next few years. Also, it's always nice to see the CT kids get put in a position to succeed.

If he keeps performing well against good competition, he definitely has pro ball in his future. I've never been as much of a scouting report guy so I'm not sure where he's at tools-wise compared to other 3Bs around the country.

Anthony Kay just wasn't himself today, and the the UConn offense just isn't going to score 18 runs every game, its that simple.

If memory serves, I believe New England Baseball Journal had Yahn as the No. 7 draft prospect from New England for next season's mlb draft.

Toppa and LeFevre are both in the lineup against a righty pitcher against Liberty. Both Susi and Stefanski had less than stellar days yesterday.

Listening to the games so far, it is clear that Yahn's fielding has improved. He's made several spectacular sounding plays in the field.
