Was in the Charlotte area a week ago, then Greenville, SC and Atlanta. Most of the days, I sported one of my new polos or pull overs that I picked up at the Spring game. I can't tell you how many folks acknowledged it and engaged me in conversation....not about hoops...but about football. At first, just about each one thought I was a coach but did not back off once I clarified I was not.
Yes, I invaded SEC country....and will again. Clearly, our coaching staff has been busy down there and it has made a good impression.
I just hope we can land some of these recruits.
