What I’ve said all season is that UConn can not be beat by at team that doesn’t play their A game AS A TEAM for whole game.

Georgetown was playing out of their heads last night hitting nearly everything they threw up there but still lost by double digits. Why? They had a alot of individual “one of one” looks that went well for much of the game but when they let up even for a minute, the dominate team of Uconn, passing, running cuts and crashing the boards while shooting well from outside is too much for any team right now in Division 1.

Having the depth this team has makes it very hard to lose a game. Every player no matter the caliber is going to have their off nights. Most teams in college can’t just pluck these studs off the bench like UConn can. It all just falls on the coaching staff to be superb in game coaches and to understand what lineups to throw out there.

It really is such a gift having a commentator/broadcaster as good and passionate as Fanta that is so in tune with Big East basketball. It's so easy to tell the difference between someone who immerses himself in this stuff and clearly spends a lot of time preparing, and the folks that just go through the motions.

Absolutely.

No one would ever think that Georgetown's starting 5 could punk our Starting 5. But they did. For most of the game.
