It was good to see Cam getting PT for the first time in nearly 2 months this evening. And Stephon leading the Spurs with 24 points. Spurs beating the Grizzlies by two.

Sounding like a broken record, but some seriously impressive clips in here

that last sequence where he drove into the paint, had a millisecond of a hesi, and then takes off to the left side of the hoop and spins it in with his right hand was unreal. Casual fans won't see enough of him to notice or appreciate it, but that's that underrated next level functional athleticism of his that is going to make him one of the best players in the league.

DC's gonna have to link with the best trainer and nutritionist money can buy this offseason, his conditioning is not up to par. You can see when it really starts affecting him during extended stints because he stops challenging shots that he should be.

That's ok let him foul out and learn. Wins and losses don't matter to Portland anyways. Starting as a rookie is a whole nother adjustment, he was also playing against Cleveland who have 2 allstar level bigs.

Castle is a great athlete. I hate people to downplay how good of an athlete he is. He just know when to use it and isn't running all over the court like a chicken with his head cut off. I really think that injury slowed him down last year at UConn but we saw some of that athletic talent when we got to the NCAA Tournament. I just wish we could of had him for 2 years but it was obvious to me he was ready for the next level by the end of the season.

Castle is going crazy against OKC right now. 18 points on 60% including 4 threes (4-7 but one of them was a half courter at the halftime buzzer)

Cooked SGA on the last real possession of the half. Took him right to the rim on an iso

He also had a heave at the end of the 1st quarter.

Castle still doing things every game that make you go "wow." He legit can do things 99% of the league just can't do.

Castle was fouled there was called for a travel, most guys would flip out and pick up a T, like how Castle tried to have a conversation with the official. Good to build a repoire with the refs, very much a student of the game.

He might actually be better than Fox heading into next year. It’s crazy

When he started playing last year, I remember thinking he could get anywhere on the court he wanted.

He’s going to be way better than Jrue Holiday

My comp was Jimmy Butler and a high end Shai if he really starts cooking.

I don't know if he'll ever be as smooth as Shai, but he might be if he develops that J.

Now, seeing him grow over the last few years into what he's becoming, I think a D Rose/better Tyreke Evans/Jimmy Butler comp isn't insane. But he's pretty unique.

I feel very "HuskyWarrior611" in that I think I've had him nailed since junior in HS. I thought he was a top 10 player in his class when he was still in the 20-30s when he committed. I thought he was a lotto pick before he started flashing his high level offensive skills that people were worried about. He's just so strong and smooth and a smart player.
