Had a decent stat line tonight. I came here to start a new thread on this but searched before I did. I was driving home from Jersey City, NJ tonight and went from Fat Boy Francesa to Steve Sommers without blinking or absorbing anything. It wasn't until I was halfway across the Tappan Zee before I realized the Nets pregame was on and I heard Bazz's name. Not sure who the radio guys are but they had maybe a 4-5 minute talk about Shabazz playing tonight right at the beginning of the broadcast. Some bits I remember: talked about coming back from injury, being much improved before the injury and someone who can really help the Nets create offense. They then talked about a few more players before one brought up that Shabazz is {paraphrasing} "just the type of guy who has it....he's a winner. He won 2 championships in college. Two! One in twenty eleven and one in 2014." Then 30 seconds of stuff I forget before one of the two radio guys mentions his rings came from The University of Connecticut. Wish I could remember more but at that point I was pretty deep in self doubt/guilt about not caving in to my inner voice and taking the extra 30 minutes to stop at the White Castle in Nyack.
