In Maui, he played with an unmatched swagger. Just pure confidence - constantly attacking, and swishing shots from virtually everywhere on the floor with ease. Obviously, this was the moment when he realized this was his team. Larrier and Gilbert went down and Purvis hadn't shown up yet, so Adams had no choice but to become the alpha dog.
Next year, I really hope he can figure out a way to not only maintain that level of confidence, but also empower his teammates to feel the same way. This could be a really fun team to watch, even if they aren't as dominant a team as some of us might like them to be.
