Makes we hyper aware of how far we have fallen.....
Anyway I remember being at Bradley during Okafor's freshman year, he was in line for a different flight and no on knew who he was. He was a tall, nervous, skinny kid. I recognized him at once and loudly pointed him out to my wife. He recognized his name as I told her and looked up very nervously. I waved and shouted something like "Hi Emeka, welcome to UCONN", or something like that and told the crowd he was our new freshman center. He beamed with this huge shy smile he couldn't hide. Everyone near him started shaking his hand and patting on the back. He was blown away. He seemed like such a good kid.
