Uconn is in a very good basketball conference and has won TWO straight national championships. Conferences tend to rise and fall. Right now the BIg East is good, and in the near future they will be great. Uconn is not going to spend the amount of money it takes to move up to a powerhouse in football and anyone who thinks they are is delusional. If they want to continue the program they should contact the other schools from the old Yankee Conference and schedule them.
