In which case, I think conferences would realign to make more sense regionally for non-football sports, in which case UConn could easily be left in the dust having alienated any conference that would make sense for UConn. I just don't see any way going to the big 12 is anything but a death sentence for UConn athletics long term, even if maybe they do get to update a dorm or two because of the pay days. [/QUOTE]
