He sounds great on paper. I especially liked how he improved the academic standing of the teams at the University of Buffalo during his tenure. Seems to be community minded too.

And, if he lived in Buffalo for six years, he doesn't mind cold snowy weather out in the boondocks:)

well hopefully not only is he the best person for the job, but also a terrific leader in athletics. it sounds like they did a nationwide search. i guess we'll find out going forward!

AD hires are difficult to project. There's not going to be much of any way to know that he was the right hire until he's on the job doing it. So I welcome him to CT and wish him the very best.

We loved him in Buffalo. No word on whether he minded the cold snowy weather! :p
