UConn going for 9th National Championship.

I was under the impression that I'm sure many 'Yarders that we had only 7 NCs. Then I read today's New Haven Register and found out that UConn won the championship in 2011. It says in a chart detailing the history of the elite eight that we "Beat Duke 75-40" & "Won national title)"

Or is a national title different than a national championship?
