UConn/Geno is 20-5 in Elite 8 games

I think one of the reasons UConn is so good in E8 & title games (and not so much in FF games) is they have so much focus during the critical games. Geno has said the E8 game is sometimes the hardest to win & you need to "will" yourself across the finish line. Also, teams have much less time to prepare for E8 & Title games (vs the FF game), an advantage usually to UConn as teams have less time to scheme against them.

People can say Uconn plays in a weak conference and therefore Geno's win percentage is inflated, but S16 win percentage of .950, and E8 win percentage of .895 suggests he is just that good when playing against the top 32 teams in the country and the top 8 teams in the country.

And a win rate at the FF of 20-7 is .741 is against the top 4 teams in the country. And his record in #1 vs #2 ranked games is 22-3 or .880

He has had a lot of very good teams and his good teams consistently play very well.
